Jen and I are leaving for Texas on Wednesday! What does it mean to be a Texan? Hmmm, I'm sure that I will learn quickly! :-) Well, keep in touch and we'll do the same!

"What does it mean to be a Texan", sounds like a theme paper. ;)
Being a Texan is something special, and encompasses a lot of things. But, I have to say the most important is "Pride". All Texans are proud to be from the Lone Star State. It's something that is ingrained in everyone's identity - something that everyone has in common and identifies with, much like your college, or your favorite sporting team.
Texas isn't perfect, but it's pretty close.
To be a texan, you'll havvve to wear cowboy boots and a bolo tie. And a cowboy hat. Oh yes, and a big belt buckle! :)
