Life changes so quickly. . . .

As you all know, well hopefully you all know: I am engaged! On Sunday, July 17th, I asked Jen David to marry me in the park at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs (go to for pictures of the actual event) and she said "YES!!!!" Okay, okay, she actually said "Oh my gosh!" followed by a yes! Yes, I managed to be three months earlier than she thought, which is always good! So, you might be wondering, when's the big date? Saturday, November 19th at Vista Grande Baptist Church in Colorado Springs! And to think just last year I was single, carefree, and enjoying every minute of it and now I am getting ready to enter the next part of my life with the woman that I love--pretty cool!!

This week has been great! On Monday we had to drop off her ring for resizing since I didn't know her ring size. It is a 3 1/4, so I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have guessed that at all!! We pick it up on Tuesday so she will finally be able to wear her ring. We're both excited about that!

This weekend we're hanging out with some friends and possibly going four-wheeling! Dan has a new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and he's dying for me to show him some new trails and put some scratches on it! Well, maybe scratches on my Jeep anyway! Also, Jen is going to look at wedding dresses this weekend. Do you think I can go with her? Yeah, right! Well, I'm off, have a great weekend!
