Another thing off the list. . . .

Last night Jen and I picked up the keys to our apartment. We are renting a two bedroom townhome, with a single car garage and a fireplace. Jen will be moving in on Saturday and I will move in after the wedding. We moved some odds and ends into the place last night. This morning I had to be there at 7:00 and wait for our living room furniture to be delivered. It looks great! We ordered a couch, loveseat, end table, and a coffee table. We both like it a lot--which is good since we'll have it for years. Just having something in the living room makes it feel like a home!
Tonight we go to a meeting with our Sunday School class. It is a social/question and answer time about marriage. It should be fun. Well, have a great day!

Welcome to the first snow of the season!!

Can you believe it? We've already had our first snow! On Monday we received a few inches of snow. Since, it was Columbus Day, Dan and I took our Jeeps to the mountains for some four-wheeling in the snow! There was approximately 12 inches of snow on the trails. It was so beautiful and a lot of fun. Jen also had the day off so she was able to join me, which made it even better.

On the home front, we started marital counseling on Sunday with the pastor that is marrying us. Tobey was able to give us some things to think, talk, and pray about as we get closer to the wedding. We have another session on Sunday evening before church. We also have joined a "Nearlywed/Newlywed" Sunday School class. It's great to be able to get to know people in the same stage of life as us. Now we are looking for a place to live after we get married. It will be nice to have that out of the way! :-)

Work is going well. We are busy in the production of our curriculum for next year. I have been doing a lot of the editing. Well, I must be off. Have a great day!!

Time for a little fun!

Well, as many of you know. . . I have gotten rid of the beast. Yes, my 1988 Jeep Wrangler has stepped aside for this new ride. It is a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I first drove it with 18 miles on it, but it now has 162. Oh, the pain. Anyway, now I'll be saving to do some modifications in the future. Hope you enjoy the pics. Have a great day!
