To the Cotton Bowl!

Can you believe it? We can't!! We are going to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas to watch Auburn and Nebraska play on January 1st! I was reading an article on www.espn.com that said that tickets were selling for as low as $10.00 each. I then went to www.stubhub.com and found tickets for $11.00 each that included a parking pass, so I bought them. Jen and I are excited to go. What a bargain! So, look for us at the game!

Jen's new car

As you know, Jen was recently in a car accident and her car was deemed totaled. I will post pictures of her old car after we get them developed! On Saturday after much research on the Internet, scouring CarFax reports, and test driving cars we found her a gem! It is a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant LS with the 3.0 V-6. It is Dover White Pearl with tan leather interior, Infinity stereo and speakers, sunroof, automatic and 63,000 miles. It is a one owner vehicle too. Well, here are the pictures!

I really struggled with buying this car for her! It was the price we wanted (no loans!!!!), but with all of the options (leather, Infinity stereo, sunroof), am I now required to keep her in this style of living and luxury?!?!?

I'm just kidding! I am so happy that she has a nice car and loves it--can't you tell by the smile on her face??

Merry Christmas!

The semester is about over!!

The semester is almost over! Wow! I can't believe that I am done with all of my finals. I only have one paper to write, which will be done by Friday! I may have gotten all A's, it depends on my Greek Final and Church History Final! If I can an A or High B, then I have straight A's! Praise the Lord! It has been a good semester and I am looking forward to next semester. I will be taking 16 credits: Elementary Greek II, Church History II, Old Testament II, Spiritual Formations II, Biblical Hermeneutics, and the Christian Minister! It should be busy since I am also working about 20-25 hours a week! I'll keep you updated as it goes along!

For the next couple of weeks, I'll be working a lot because we want to save and have the tutition paid for at the beginning of the semester!

A quick update!

So much has happened to us in the last few weeks, which is why I haven't posted. Thank you to Jen for the nice things that she wrote for our anniversary! I am blessed to have her as my wife.

Over our anniversary weekend we drove to Aurora, NE for my Grandma Williams' funeral. It was nice to see the family quickly, but it was hard under the circumstances. I am happy to report that Dad had asked her if she was saved and she was!

On Sunday, November 19th (our anniversary, we drove the 10 hours back home with a quick stop in Gainesville, TX for dinner with Jen's parents. On Monday we both worked and went out for dinner to celebrate.

On Tuesday, November 21st, I went to work until I saw that I had a phone message from Jen. I thought it was unusual, so I listened to it and she told me that she was in a bad car accident, the car was bad, she was heading to the hospital, but that she thought she was okay. I quickly called her and found out she was in Stephenville, TX at the hospital, which was over 70 miles away. I quickly ran home and got directions and drove to meet her. When I got to the hospital, she was waiting in the emergency room. Thankfully, she seems to be fine. She hurt her knee, back, neck, and had a big bruise on her inner thigh. The cause was a gentleman pulled in front of her and she hit him doing app. 50 mph. We just received the police report and they said that she was not at fault for the accident. So, we are just waiting to receive the insurance check from the other party's insurance company since her car was totaled.

We went looking for cars this weekend and found quite a few that were in our price range and with low miles. It'll be nice to have everything settled soon! We'll keep you posted and post pictures of the new (used) car when we get it! For those that have been praying, thanks for all of the prayers! Thankfully, Jen's old car protected her just like it was supposed to! Have a great day!

Christmas 2006

Today, after church we went to a farmer's market to buy a tree and there wasn't a tree for less than $60.00, which was ridiculous! So, we headed to Home Depot and bought a nice looking tree for $19.99. Hope you enjoy our apartment with us!

Enjoy our flowers with us!

Last week, I bought Jen these flowers and they have lasted over a week and still look great!

Thanks, Adam for the Iris' that you sent for our anniversary. Here's a picture of how they look all opened up! Thank you!
