I'm off!

Just to let everyone know that I will be heading out tomorrow morning. I fly to LA for the day before I get on the plane to Thailand. I will be there from July 1st-July 18th. Okay, okay, okay

Yeah, I know, I'm lazy or busy, yeah that's it! I could give a number of excuses about not posting due to the high volume of work that has been placed before me at work, but would anybody believe it? I think not! Most people think that I just play sports with kids and tell them about Jesus. This allows me to wear shorts everyday and relax. Hmm, this is sounding pretty good! Maybe I should quit while I'm ahead!

Things are going well, although busy. Jen arranged a surprise birthday party for me, which was a blast. Then on my birthday she took me out for a movie and dinner.

Currently I am in Oklahoma for training camp. We fly and drive our summer staff to OKC to train in the town of Yukon. We partner with three churches and have over 540 kids attending camp. Hopefully tomorrow a few more will join. This is my fifth summer in a row to spend the week in Yukon. I have been with Covenant Community Church for the last four years and it is wonderful to see all of my friends here every year. They have become a second family and I enjoy this time fellowshipping with them. The only problem is that my beautiful wife was not able to make the trip with me. They are as disappointed as the two of us in not being able to meet her, but hopefully soon!
